Thank you for choosing to join me and artist Jacqueline Nicholls on this 40 day journey into a new year. I hope these reflections on the ripples of our being inspire private introspection and public conversation. Here’s today’s post:

Prepent Day 22

Best intentions and practices frequently slip off. But with a nudge we can get back on track for the benefit of self and others. Full disclosure: My digital discipline is definitely in need of a nudge. Today I’m taking responsibility, reinforcing this work ethic: No email after working hours, which in our case for now is 9am-9pm. The draft inbox is the friend of late night workers, though in truth the inbox can and should be turned off too. Take charge, for the sake of self and others, and figure out at least one way to better live online today. (written at 10pm, saved in draft folder.)

Very excited for Lab/Shul’s fifth season of High Holy Days, back in Tribeca. We invite all ages to return to center, recharge soul, reclaim community and co-create our widening circles of care, compassion and justice.
